linda lawson whatta bebe.

night tide

so elle & I put our amazingly lively social lives on hide this saturday night, to watch the 1961 film 'Night Tide' by Curtis Harrington at ACMI.
enticed at the prospect of black & white film & a tacky story line;

'On leave in a shore side town, Johnny becomes interested in a young dark haired woman. They meet and he learns that she plays a mermaid in the local carnival. After strange occurrences, Johnny begins to believe that she may actually be a real mermaid that habitually kills during the cycle of the full moon'

elle & I set out for a sufficient supply of lollies & crossed our fingers.

linda lawson who plays 'mora' the mermaid lady was a mega bebe.
.
ah huh.
ha ha.

the best line was:
when the masseur asks 'do you want me to pound you later?!' to the old creepy man.
immature yes, but the entire cinema (we were the youngest in there at 19) erupted in laughter.
was hilarious.

elle has her own blog now too who doesn't these days?!
